Cancellation Policy
At Yatravi Holidays, every booking involves advance payments to hotels, airlines, transport providers, activity operators, destination management companies, and other travel partners. Since many of these services are confirmed immediately after your booking, cancellation charges are applicable based on the time of cancellation.
More than 30 Days Before Departure
If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the departure date, 20% of the total package cost will be deducted as cancellation and administrative charges. The remaining eligible balance will be refunded after deducting any non-refundable charges imposed by hotels, airlines, visa authorities, cruise operators, or other third-party suppliers, wherever applicable.
16 to 30 Days Before Departure
If the booking is cancelled between 16 and 30 days before departure, 50% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees. During this period, most hotels, transport services, sightseeing tickets, permits, and destination services are already confirmed and become partially or fully non-refundable.
8 to 15 Days Before Departure
If the cancellation is made between 8 and 15 days before departure, 75% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation fees due to confirmed travel arrangements and supplier commitments.
Within 7 Days Before Departure
If the cancellation is made within 7 days of departure, or if the guest fails to report for the tour (No Show), 100% of the package cost will be non-refundable. No refund, credit note, postponement, or rescheduling will be permitted.
Special Cancellation Conditions
Certain travel services may carry separate cancellation terms that are stricter than the standard policy. These may include:
- Flight tickets
- Train tickets
- Cruise bookings
- Visa fees
- Travel insurance
- Event or attraction tickets
- Adventure activities
- Theme parks
- Wildlife permits
- Government permits
- Special event bookings
- Peak season or festive bookings
- Non-refundable promotional offers
In such cases, the cancellation policy of the respective service provider shall prevail.
Force Majeure
Yatravi Holidays shall not be responsible for cancellations or additional expenses arising due to natural disasters, floods, landslides, earthquakes, pandemics, political unrest, strikes, war, civil disturbances, government restrictions, weather conditions, airline operational issues, or any other circumstances beyond our control. Any refund in such situations will depend entirely on the policies of the respective suppliers.
Refund Policy
Eligible refunds will be processed after receiving cancellation confirmation and settlement from all concerned travel partners.
Refunds are generally initiated within 7 to 10 working days after approval. However, depending on banks, payment gateways, airlines, hotels, or international suppliers, the final credit may take up to 15 working days.
Refunds will be credited only to the original payment source, including the same bank account, debit card, credit card, UPI ID, or payment method used during the original booking.
Convenience charges, payment gateway fees, bank transaction charges, forex conversion charges, taxes, visa fees, insurance charges, and any non-refundable third-party service charges are not refundable unless specifically stated.
Refunds shall not be applicable for unused services after the commencement of the tour, including hotel nights, sightseeing, transfers, meals, activities, or transportation that the traveler voluntarily chooses not to utilize.
Payment Policy
To secure travel arrangements and avoid availability issues, payments must be made according to the following schedule.
Booking Confirmation
A minimum 40% advance payment of the total package cost is required to confirm the booking and block hotels, transportation, sightseeing, and other travel services.
Intermediate Payment
An additional 30% payment must be completed within 15 days of booking or as communicated by the booking consultant, whichever is earlier. This enables confirmation of hotels, transportation, permits, attraction tickets, and other destination services.
Final Payment
The remaining 30% balance must be cleared at least 15 days before the departure date. For bookings made within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.
Failure to complete payments within the specified timelines may result in automatic cancellation of the booking without prior notice. Applicable cancellation charges will be deducted accordingly.
Important Booking Terms
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- Package prices are subject to change until the booking is confirmed with the required advance payment.
- Hotel check-in and check-out timings are governed by the respective hotel policies.
- Room categories are subject to availability.
- Early check-in and late check-out are chargeable unless specifically included.
- Any increase in airfare, hotel rates, fuel surcharge, taxes, government levies, visa charges, or currency fluctuations before departure may result in additional charges.
- Travelers are responsible for carrying valid passports, visas, identity proof, permits, vaccination certificates, and any other travel documents required for the destination.
- Any damage caused by guests at hotels, vehicles, cruises, or other properties shall be payable directly by the guest.
- Any amendment requested after booking confirmation will be subject to availability and additional charges.
- Yatravi Holidays acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers. We shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, service deficiencies, schedule changes, baggage loss, accidents, weather disruptions, or operational decisions made by airlines, hotels, transport operators, or government authorities.
- By making the booking and paying the advance amount, the traveler confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Payment Policy, and all Terms & Conditions of Yatravi Holidays.
